Depth to Span Ratios: For optimal performance and price the depth of the truss in inches should approximately equal the span of the truss in feet. For example, if the span is 20'6" the depth of the truss should optimally be 20". Adhering as closely as possible to this guideline will ensure the best combination of stiffness and price for this product.
Send plans, preferably hard copy, to-scale and allow 7 to 10 days for pricing. Floor truss plans
must have an engineer designed framing plan with precise wall line loads and point loads if any
of the levels above are stick framed.
Once our ORDER Form is signed allow 10+ working days for design of residential and small to
medium sized commercial jobs. More time should be allowed for larger projects.
AFTER THE shop drawings/submittals have been approved allow 10+ working days for fabrication
and delivery to the jobsite of small to medium jobs. More time should be allowed for larger jobs.
Shop drawings for approval or permit can only be started after our ORDER form has been signed
and all appropriate financial arrangements have been made.
Once our ORDER has been signed and shop drawings have been done, if the order should be
cancelled there will be a charge of 15% of the total truss contract for the design time on the
shop drawings.
